Work Environment:
Outside Sales Representatives often require frequent travel and significant time spent away from a conventional office environment. This may involve meeting prospective clients at job sites, as well as conducting work and making calls either from home or the branch location.
Physical Demands:
Outside Sales Representatives typically spend a significant amount of time traveling to meet clients, whether by car, plane, or other modes of transportation. This may involve sitting for extended periods and being able to endure long drives or flights
While visiting clients or attending events, sales representatives may need to stand or walk for extended periods. This requires good stamina and comfortable footwear.
Carrying presentation materials, product samples, or promotional items may be necessary during client visits or when attending trade shows or conferences. Sales representatives may work long hours, especially during peak seasons or when chasing important deals. They need to maintain energy levels and focus throughout the day.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a full-time position with workdays scheduled from Monday to Friday. Hours may vary depending on business needs.
Travel:
Periodic travel is required.
Required Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma/GED required.
Experience: Demonstrated experience and proficiency in promoting and facilitating the sale and distribution of roofing supplies or building products.
