• Define clear objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics as well as develop dashboards and reports to monitor company-wide performance, providing regular updates to the executive team and stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with various departments, including marketing, e-commerce, finance, and supply chain, to provide data-driven solutions and support business objectives.

• Lead the analysis of data to extract actionable insights, trends, and opportunities. Use data to inform critical business decisions, optimize processes, and drive performance improvements.

• Communicate insights effectively through data visualization tools and reports, ensuring that complex data is understandable and actionable by non-technical stakeholders

• Oversee the development and maintenance of robust data infrastructure and analytics platforms. Ensure data accuracy, availability, and security.

• Lead the exploration and implementation of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI, to discover new opportunities and optimize operations.

• Manage the analytics department budget effectively, making strategic investments in tools, technology, and talent to support the company's goals.

• Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Develop predictive models to forecast customer behavior, sales trends, and inventory needs, and support data-driven decision-making.

• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data accuracy, security and accessibility throughout the organization 

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the analytics team.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data analysts, data scientists, and business intelligence professionals

• Manage relationships with third-party analytics and data providers.

Location: As our VP, Analytics you will work onsite at our Sandy Springs, Georgia Corporate Office 

Requirements:

• Extensive experience leading best-in-class enterprise data and business intelligence strategy, preferably in an eCommerce or retail environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's in data science, analytics, or a related discipline is preferred
• Strong analytical skills, with expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools.
• Proficiency in data management and architecture, including database technologies and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and software, such as SQL, Python, R, and business intelligence platforms.
• Experience with machine learning and data visualization tools is a plus.
• Experience managing budget within the analytics department
