Edgecombe County Public Schools is Hiring a Child Nutrition Supervisor Near Carolina, NC
JOB SPECIFICS: Salary: Pay Grade 68
Term of Employment: 12 months per year
Hours: 8 hours per day
Holidays: 11 days per year or as set by the school board
Annual Leave (or Vacation) Days: Earned according to
state guidelines, with minimum earning rate being 1
day earned for each month worked
Sick Leave: Earned at the rate of 1 day for each month worked
Hospital Insurance: Individual coverage: $25.00 (as long as this
is the plan for state employees: 70/30 option)
Retirement System: Membership
Other Benefits: Optional participation in Group Life Insurance, Cafeteria insurance, cancer and intensive care insurance, medical
reimbursement, and dependent day care reimbursement),
401(k) savings bonds, tax-sheltered annuities, etc.
QUALIFICATION: Minimum of 4 year Bachelors Degree required.
Management experience required
Experience in a food service operation required
Ability to supervise others, give guidelines and requirements
Ability to interpret regulations and teach material using power point
Ability to communicate effectively with all staff
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
RESPONSIBILITIES/
DUTIES: Supervise the daily activities of cafeteria managers and staff assuring
program operations are followed
Develop training material.
Conduct Nutrition analysis.
Work with parents, teachers, all school staff to educate and
inform about CNP positive role in nutrition and health
Attend classes and seminars to enhance knowledge of program
Other duties assigned by CN Director
