High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Publisher). May be required to complete an applicable assessment.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. May be required to complete an applicable
assessment.
Knowledge of student information systems (SIS) for data entry, reports, and
exporting of data preferred.
Ability to work with a linguistically and culturally diverse public.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Detail oriented team player with good organizational skills.
Job Description / Responsibilities
Identify systems to efficiently organize orders for textbooks, supplies, and
materials for staff district-wide.
Compile information, feedback, and data from buildings.
Perform duties necessary for district and curriculum committee meetings which
include but are not limited to: creating the agenda, taking meeting notes, creating binders, transcribing minutes, collecting and organizing artifacts from administrators whom are presenting, uploading documents to the district website, etc.
Coordinate and prepare materials for professional development trainings and
workshops including maintaining a professional development binder.
Schedule locations and technology setup and hospitality for professional
development trainings/meetings.
Create documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher for
Teaching and Learning informational documents, trainings, and other necessary communications.
Manage Title documents and duties as outlined
Assist with coordinating district, state, and out-of-state professional development
opportunities.
Maintain professional and effective communication with all district staff, serving
as a source of information.
Distribute STEM school lottery and information to parents
Confirm meeting attendance in MLP and other maintenance within the program.
Maintain School Leadership accounts.
Greet visitors and students, provide appropriate information or assistance, or refer
to appropriate staff for further assistance.
Answer incoming telephone calls, provide appropriate information, or take
message and refer the caller to the appropriate staff.
Safeguard confidential information as specified in the Illinois School Code.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee.
