Accounts Receivable Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices to customers.
- Record and apply payments received, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
- Conduct proactive follow-up on overdue accounts, communicating with customers to resolve payment issues.
- Assess the creditworthiness of customers, set credit limits, and manage credit terms.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management review.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payment-related matters.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
