• Manage and develop a carrier portfolio establishing long lasting carrier relationships
• Ability to sell and negotiate with carriers.
• Continuously prospect & hunt new carriers through high volume outbound calls and occasional onsite visits
• Provide continuous coverage support for all open brokerage loads
• Continuously achieve and exceed all Carrier Sales Rep metrics and KPIs
• Ability to grow personal carrier base and establish residual “core” carriers
• Must be able to work with all carrier database tools to build and convert carriers to “core” carriers
• Ability to adopt industry technologies and implement into daily operations.
• Perform thorough carrier campaigns to establish a solid carrier base for awarded business
• Perform daily carrier profiles to ensure internal carrier database is up to date
• Proactively communicate, providing excellent customer service internally and to our carriers
• Identify & uncover organic capacity/availability opportunities within your carrier portfolio
• Willingness to learn, grow and adapt to a changing industry
• Ability to think on the fly, multitask, strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Fearless mentality, willing to call & talk to anyone to capture opportunities in a booming freight market

• High School education is required.
• College education is preferred.
• Ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate.
• Work as a team with Account Managers and Carriers Sales Representatives.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
