LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Logistics Specialist role open for our client in White Plains, NY - this is a 100% on site role within the White Plains, NY area. This direct hire role allows you to expand your logistics career through supporting the fleet team and directly manage warehousing operations through route management! This position requires a minimum 4 years of experience in a construction and/or commercial building products environment and MUST be proven highly proficient in ERP – DMSI Agility, Routing (Descartes), WMS (Epicor) and TMS systems. Ideal candidates will have managed 100 fleet and have expertise within commercial vehicles. This position does have flexible hours.

Salary range: $70,000 to $85,000 DOE.

Responsibilities :

· Directly manage company fleet & external carriers to complete successful delivery of products to job locations.

· Manage any necessary inventory transfers from/to locations, suppliers, inbound and outbound.

· Creation of optimal delivery routes for assigned geographic region and its locations.

· Support replenishment strategy by providing real-time actionable data.

· Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the geographic region assigned.

· Utilize the ERP software DMSI Agility, routing software Descartes and WMS system Epicor to complete daily operational tasks.

· Stay abreast and of any and all policy and procedural changes to be implemented as well as transportation laws affecting company.

Requirements:

· Seeking a proactive problem solver with strong decision-making skills

· Candidates MUST be able to think decisively in a fast-paced environment.

· Prior experience dispatching and routing commercial vehicles is required.

· Warehouse and fleet management of preferrable 100 vehicles highly preferred.

· Must have the ability to work as a team also independently.

· Must be able to prioritize tasks, delegate and utilize time in a proactive manner.

· Must be a decisive decision maker under urgent matters.

· Must be highly technological resourceful and very proficient with ERP, WMS and TMS systems.
