Digital Marketing Specialist

The practices we serve depend on us to guide them as they plan for the future. As a result, our Marketing Hub Team is growing! We are in search of a Digital Marketing Specialist to join us in helping to make sure our members have a top-notch Digital Marketing presence.

This is a fully remote opening - and will be forever! DVM Elite is a 100% virtual company so you get to work from home permanently, with no regular travel required. 

Primary Responsibilities

You will get to use your online, digital marketing skills to serve our members in the following areas by . . .

Client Social Media

• Coordinating the timely approval and delivery process of Social Media content.
• Organizing and communicating change requests for Social Media content when necessary.
• Scheduling Social Media content for publishing.
• Managing current and new accounts on the Social Media platform according to client portfolio updates.

Client Email Marketing

• Making sure the assets for the monthly email campaigns are delivered and approved on time.
• Ensuring newsletters and promo emails are sent in proper form and template, and are responsive (QA testing).
• Coordinating maintenance and updates of client email databases, especially the Opt-in and Opt-out subscriptions.
• Implementing best practices in the GMB accounts of new clients in coordination with the SEO team.
• Monitoring reviews on client GMB accounts on a regular basis, coordinating responses with Account Managers.

General

• Assisting with content creation for Social Media and Email marketing campaigns as requested.
• Occasionally supporting the Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist with the generation of Digital Marketing Strategy performance reports, reviewing them for key indicators of success or ineffectiveness.
• Participating in meetings with clients from time to time to answer questions, provide explanations of strategy, or obtain feedback on content.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications of the position are listed below. In certain cases, additional experience may be considered in lieu of education, except where education is required by regulation.

Education & Experience:

• B.S. in Marketing or Digital Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional Certificates in Digital Marketing, Analytics, Project Management, and SEO preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Digital / Online Marketing.
• Prior experience in a client-facing Digital / Online Marketing role preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail are required. 
• Must be a curious, lifelong learner with a growth mindset.
• Working knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, trends and analytics.
• The ability to work well independently with minimal supervision as a result of a remote work environment.
• Teamwork and a true spirit of collaboration are essential.

Technical & Workspace:

• Should have a high-speed internet connection and device with capabilities sufficient to support use of modern applications including Google Suite, Zoom (or similar video conferencing software), internal communication apps, client management tools, etc.
• A reasonably quiet work-space free from frequent interruptions.

Hours & Availability

This is a full-time opportunity at approximately 40 hours per week. In general, you should be available to communicate and collaborate with your team, other internal counterparts, and sometimes clients, during regular business hours in your time zone. 

Location Requirements

This role is open to candidates authorized to work in the United States and whose permanent address is in one of the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MI, NC, PA, SC, TX, WI. Unfortunately, if your permanent residence is not in one of these states, we are not able to consider you for an opening at this time.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting pay rate will be $20-$22/hour, DOE/Q. Paid time off, a retirement savings plan with company match, paid holidays, and bonus opportunities are available for eligible employees. New benefits offerings will soon be available as well! At the present time, DVM Elite does not offer health benefits.
