Duda & Sons, Inc. has an opening for an hourly paid Accounting Assistant II who will be responsible for reviewing vendor invoices in order to process payments, maintaining vendor invoices received in the 'Vendor Invoice' library, and tracking ADV's received from the locations. This position will also be responsible for creating payment journals for the Auto ACH invoice journals that have been matched with the bank scripts and matching the journals with the posted report and sending the journals to the scan room.The Accounting Assistant II’s duties include the following:Review Invoice Journals/ADVs/POsMaintain Vendor Invoice LibraryLog Invoice Journals/ADVs received from locationsVendor set upMatch posted General Journals to reportReconcile bank statementsProcess void checksAn Associate Degree in Accounting as well as 1 year of previous accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
