Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Fort Wayne, IN
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure all supplier and intercompany invoices are processed and paid in a timely and accurate manner
- Review and process expense reports for employees through Concur
- Ensure supplier statement reconciliations are completed in a timely manner and reconciling items are resolved
- Ensure supplier account inquiries are resolved quickly and effectively
- Keep the supplier invoice management system current and process new invoices received within 2 days
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance of the supplier database
- Scanning of supplier statements & bank details
- Ad hoc duties as deemed necessary by the Accounts Payable Manager
- Cover/support to other team members in times of absences
- Ensure all invoices are processed within the supplier invoice management system within 2 days of being received
- Ensure employee expense reports are reviewed and processed in time for the weekly payment run
- Ensure inquiries are resolved within a timely manner
- Responsible for the processing of invoices and expenses in a timely manner
- Ensure the weekly payments are correct, on time and accurate
- Good understanding of full-cycle Accounts Payable
- Previous Accounts Payable experience strongly preferred
- Experience with JDE system is desired, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong integrity and ability to maintain confidential information
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of AP payment methods including check, ACH, Wire and Pcard
- 10-key speed and accuracy
- Ability to function well in a team environment as well as work independently
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Excellent attendance record
