Summary: We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform various office duties
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Kingston, NY 12401
Target Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM
Target Duration/End Date: December 2024
Description of Roles and Responsibilities:
· Reading document content to visually impaired staff person
· Filing, converting documents to a different format such as Adobe or Word, utilizing an on-line case management system
· Answering participant phone calls, follow up with participants via phone, email, etc.
· Traveling with the staff person for participation in intakes/meeting
· Document retrieval, scanning/copying/faxing documents, preparing written correspondence, processing mail and other duties as deemed necessary
Mandatory/Minimum Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. And at least two years of relevant experience
Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:
· Must have good time management skills
· Detail-oriented, organized
· Able to catch errors/inconsistent/ incomplete work, proofread work
· Able to manage a large volume of electronic files without commingling files
· Must be able to work quickly and accurately
· Able to follow office policy and procedure
· Able to rename PDF files, drag and drop files in folders, copy and paste files into folders, create folders, edit template emails, double checks work, ask questions when clarification is needed
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
· Ability to prepare and maintain standard records and reports
· Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
