Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our organization to our patients and the community at large. You will be responsible for the entire customer service experience. This position performs a variety of tasks which include but is not limited to:

  • answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries regarding treatment services provided by this office
  • scheduling patient appointments
  • maintaining and expanding patient relationships through all stages of customer service development, including developing new prospects within the community and the industry
  • responding to customer concerns or requests regarding substance abuse treatment services or substance abuse prevention services provided by this office
  • responding to customer inquiries regarding drug screening and or testing services provided by this office
  • maintaining and updating patient records on an ongoing basis sending out monthly monthly reports on patient accounts with proper documentation
  • answering questions about our facility treatment services provided by this office testing services available to patients via phone or email
  • scheduling drug screening and testing services for patients
  • working with referral sources for new patients
  • maintaining and updating patient records on an ongoing basis with the help of Medical Records Managers
  • keeping medical records up to date through collection of contact information by referring agencies clinics organizations
  • updating patient accounts through multiple medical record management websites as needed — all using computers in a fast paced environment.
  • performing administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, faxing, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the clinic during opening hours (full time job 40 hours per week). Responsible for calendar management, memos, appointments, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to Clinic Director including: answering phones, scheduling calls, responding to questions from patients/clinics directors regarding treatment services provided by this office, scheduling patient appointments, maintaining and expanding patient relationships through all stages of customer service development, including developing new prospects within the industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
