What you'll do

As a member of the Developer Marketing team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing on developer-focused events, including conferences, hackathons and meetups. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create memorable experiences that foster community engagement, drive developer adoption, and enhance brand awareness. 

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Developer Marketing. 

Responsibility 

• Work with the Experiential Marketing team to plan, organize, and execute on developer-focused events, including conferences, hackathons and meetups, as well as DocuSign’s participation in various 3rd party events
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Experiential Marketing, Product, Engineering and Sales, to align event objectives with business goals
• Conduct research to identify relevant developer events, forums and meetups where our developer community is active, and seek opportunities to participate in and/or sponsor
• Develop event concepts and themes that resonate with developers and address their needs and interests
• Build a DocuSign developer meetup and swag program, working in deep partnership with events, community, programs and developer experience teams
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, travel arrangements and on-site coordination
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure high-quality speakers, panelists and workshop facilitators
• Work with the Design team to develop event branding, collateral and signage that aligns with our brand identity and enhances the attendee experience
• Establish relationships with industry partners, sponsors and vendors to secure resources, sponsorship opportunities, and additional event support
• Work cross-functionally to actively socialize call for proposals for upcoming conferences
• Measure event success and effectiveness by tracking and reporting key outcomes and retrospectives in partnership with the analytics team
• Identify areas of improvement and best practices for future events
• Stay up-to-date with event industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating innovative ideas into event execution

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Positions at DocuSign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within DocuSign. What you bring

Basic 

• 2 years in total event marketing experience 

Preferred 

• 1 years experience in developer event marketing at a SaaS company 
• Understanding and passion for developers and developer culture

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $68,400 - $97,700 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $63,100 - $82,075 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $63,100 - $88,875 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
