You Will

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties to include benefits administration; leave of absence; investigations; coaching/counseling/discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and existing employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the administration of airport badging, background checks.
  • Conducts audits to include HR programs and recommend corrective action.
  • Serve as Coach and mentor.
  • Training, development, and Talent Management – Talent Development coach and liaison for General Management. Conduct annual training as necessary.
  • Policy Administration – Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures related to Human Resources.
  • Providing advice and consultation to operations, safety.
  • Promote employee engagement.
  • Employee Relations Management – manages internal and external matters from notification through resolution.
  • Participates in collective bargaining processes, ensures the CBA is executed and followed.
  • Process and vetting of employee separations.
  • Ensure performance expectations and policy guidance are being met.
  • Provide assistance to all levels of management.
  • Regular attendance that is punctual and dependable is required.
  • Perform project work and other duties as assigned.

You Have

  • Knowledge and understanding of HR best practices; local, state, and federal employment law and regulations, experience in California labor laws required.
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, create a team environment
  • Detail oriented, with ability to track task progress to completion
  • Able to establish positive relationships with airline and airport personnel at theairport.
  • Possess/maintain a valid state driver’s license and other FAA/Airport requiredidentification/seals or authorizations. three to five years aviation ramp andpassenger service experience and/or training 
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, collaborate and lead. 
  • Highly organized with ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Must handle confidential matters with appropriate discretion
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Must deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. A general understanding of Windows, Google Chrome Browser, Internet Explorer Browser.
  • Full knowledge of airline ramp service handling procedures, aviation safety andsecurity procedures , additionally have union experience preferred.
