Overview

Acquia is seeking a strategic and results-driven Partner Marketing Manager to spearhead partner marketing efforts in the Americas region. This role is pivotal in developing and executing strategies to drive pipeline growth, amplify brand visibility, and fortify relationships with channel partners. Working closely with sales, field marketing, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership, the Partner Marketing Manager will ensure alignment with business objectives while maximizing the impact of partner initiatives.

Acquia has an expanding marketplace of partners and partner solutions that require the right individual to positively impact the next wave of Acquia’s growth. The Partner Marketing Manager will have a direct impact on a partner’s entire experience and journey with Acquia from recruitment, engagement and enablement. Areas of focus will include communications and brand activations, strategic partner planning, alignment to Acquia's long-term goals, all the while fostering a positive, performance-based culture that showcases a partner’s many contributions.

Areas of Focus:

  • Agile communication strategies and marketing playbooks that excite Partners with Acquia’s product, market, and community dynamics.
  • Engagement across a partner’s entire journey with Acquia, inspiring them to maximize their contributions to deal referrals, pipeline creation, and Acquia’s brand.
  • Annual and quarterly planning with strategic partners that align and scale Acquia's long-term strategic objectives.
  • Operationalized marketing drivers using systems and partner data to engage a large, growing and diverse channel at scale.
  • Maintain a performance-based culture that showcases a partner’s holistic contributions to Acquia and our shared customer success.

Job Requirements:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive partner marketing strategies and plans aligned with sales objectives and overall business goals in the Americas region.
  • Collaborate with select channel partners to create co-marketing programs, campaigns, and initiatives that drive demand generation and accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Optimize and operationalize the entire partner journey with market and campaign readiness programs in order to drive effective brand and growth strategies for partners at every stage of maturity.
  • Support partner recruitment programs by aligning ideal partner profiles and targets to existing demand creation programs.
  • Drive partner engagement through 1:many digital programs and utilize self-service tools like the Acquia Partner Portal (Powered by AllBound) and the Acquia Partner Help Desk.
  • Support partner enablement efforts and cross-functional collaboration with the partner enablement and operations teams and all of marketing.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Acquia and channel partners, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure successful execution of joint marketing activities.
  • Drive partner enablement efforts, including the development of marketing collateral, training materials, and other resources to empower partners to effectively market Acquia solutions.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track the performance of partner marketing programs, measure ROI, and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key partners, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership ecosystem.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities for partnership growth and expansion.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partner marketing or channel marketing roles, preferably in the technology or software industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing partner marketing strategies that drive pipeline growth and revenue.
  • Strong understanding of channel partner dynamics and experience working with a diverse partner ecosystem including VAR, ISV and Reseller partnerships
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure performance.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and identify opportunities for partnership growth and expansion.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
