Job OverviewThe position of an Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust and reliability with an assigned partner account list of major accounts in the US. They work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring that the printing solutions provided align with their requirements and grow their business with District Photo.

Job Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales and Business Development: Responsible for driving sales revenue growth within assigned accounts and new customer assigned accounts. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling print products and services, as well as seek out new business opportunities to expand DPI’s partner/customer base.
  • Project Coordination and Management: Responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of print projects from initial concept to final delivery. Coordinating with various internal teams, including design, production, and logistics to ensure projects are executed seamlessly and exceed customer expectations.
  • Technical Expertise and Consultation: Possess a deep understanding of printing technologies, materials, and processes. Provide expert guidance and consultation to clients, helping them navigate the complexities of print-on-demand and personalized print and gift applications, and advising them on the best solutions to achieve their objectives.
  • Problem Solving and Resolution: Adept at resolving issues and addressing partner/customer concerns. Including finding solutions for technical issues, production delays, miscommunications to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Competitive Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Identify emerging opportunities and competitive threats informing strategic decision-making and helping DPI maintain its competitive edge to retain and grow.
Job Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of printing processes and products
  • 5 years successful strategic Account Management
  • Proficiency using CRM software (i.e HubSpot) to manage customer interactions, coordinate activities, and nurture sales leads
  • Ability to leverage existing networks to actively seek new opportunities to expand a client base
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams and partners to build and communicate accurate forecasts
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), and consistently deliver results that contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.
  • Ability to present effective pricing proposals, samples of photobook prints, personalized print products, and gifts effectively to potential clients.
  • Basic financial acumen
  • Adhering to ethical standards in sales practices and customer interactions.
  • Clear and effective communication, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal teams
  • Genuine interest in the printing industry and enthusiasm for promoting photobook prints, personalized print, and gift items
