Your Key responsibilities

Over the past two years, Disruptive Technologies has developed a commercial sales operation in the Americas that has landed milestone deals with Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and everything in between. We are now building a Customer Success capability to match and accelerate the sales team’s success.

Your mission is to design, develop and deliver world class customer success capabilities. You will engage with customers early in the sales process to emphasize product value, work closely with existing customers to drive product adoption, and introduce new service offerings to increase value for all customers. This role is built for an entrepreneurial leader that is excited to roll up his or her sleeves and work with customers day-in and day-out, all while designing the processes and tools for future team member use.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Proof of Concepts: Partner with sales and operations to manage POCs, ensuring that potential customers understand the value our sensing solutions deliver
  • Onboarding: Serve as the primary contact for training and onboarding new customers
  • Account Management: Drive retention and growth among our most valuable customers by resolving customer requests and understanding their business needs 
  • New Services: Partner with product, operations, and sales to develop, pilot, and sell new services that leverage sensor data to help customers reduce costs and increase efficiencies 
  • Customer Success Coordination: Partner with staff in Europe to to jointly build our company wide CS capabilities 
  • Voice of Customer: Share customer feedback with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other teams
  • Other Opportunities as Needed: DT is young and scrappy and we all wear many hats. You will be asked to assist on other fronts, including joining sales calls, conferences, installs, and more 

Your skills & experience

You have held Customer Success or related leadership roles in the past, with a proven track record as an independent contributor earlier in your career. Experience with sensing solutions, SaaS, or/or start-ups, a plus. 

  • 5 years of Customer Success experience 
  • Friendly, outgoing, and service-minded; enjoying meeting and connecting with people
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Enjoy analyzing and presenting data and insights to customers
  • Creative, innovative, and hard working: you like to build new things 
  • Unwavering commitment to integrity and professionalism
  • Process oriented and organized are essential
  • Experience in the convenience store, grocery, and/or commercial real estate sectors, a plus.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with changing objectives and responsibilities
