Job Summary:

Project Manager needed to organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, involving multiple, and complex and inter-related project tasks. The PM manages teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations. Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization. Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs. Establishes and maintains technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organizes and delegates responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide overall management and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned
• Assign tasks to contractor personnel
• Supervise on-going technical efforts and manage overall performance
• Management and oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontractors, to satisfy the requirements identified
• Responsible for the technical and management direction over multi-disciplined, technical, and the scientifically oriented teams
• Responsible for driving each project to success, ensuring delivery on schedule, to scope, and within budget
• Tracking and reporting schedules, schedule variances from plan, and developing contingency plans to bring the project back to alignment with schedule
• Coordinate efforts from support personnel to include software testing, software development/sustainment, IA and portfolio management teams and functional personnel
• Coordinate work with Government personnel and other contractors supporting business operations
• Responsible for organizing and conducting Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews
• Provide support to the Government IT PM for document reviews, system status reviews/reporting, and all facets of compliance reporting (e.g., IT Portfolio Management Repository (ITIPS), Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service [eMASS], etc.).
• Other support duties as needed/directed

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

• Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of program management experience in the field or related IT area with demonstrated knowledge of similar programs (i.e., size, scope, and complexity)
• Experience managing and coordinating staff in a DoD environment.
• Desired minimum of four years of IT experience with civil or environmental engineering systems
• Desired minimum of four years of DoD AF IT environment experience
• Must live within a 50 mile radius of San Antonio, TX. 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related IT field
• Desired Master’s degree in Information Systems or related IT field

 Certifications:

• Must have a current PMI, PMP, or PgMP certification
• IAT Level II Certified (One of the following: Security . CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)

 Clearance:

• Active Secret Security Clearance is required or must have the ability to gain interim Secret clearance, or holds a successfully completed National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation
• Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by DDC and/or required by DDC’s Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
