Job Description
Position Overview:
OTS has an opportunity for a full-time (40 hours a week) Intermediate IT Project Manager at San Antonio Airport starting November 1 and continuing to the end of September 2024.
Duties:
- Assemble a Project Plan using the ITSD PMO template which includes milestones but not a Work Breakdown Structure
- Attend weekly project meetings for each project to convey status, coordinate activities and ensure people are doing their work to move the project forward. Aviation Executive Sponsors often attend these meetings
- Prepare bi-weekly project updates for the ITSD PMO updating the Project Plan
- Attend bi-weekly ITSD PMO meetings to present the status of projects and answer any questions (the ITSD CIO and CTO attend these meetings)
- If the project has a status of Red due to unresolved challenges with any two of i) budget ii) schedule iii) scope, present project status as well as the project recovery plan at the weekly Project Control Board (PCB) meeting
- Provide monthly updates for Airport CIP reporting
- Attend the Monthly Airport CIP meetings to provide updates on yellow or red status projects
- Follow up with team members on the status of their assigned tasks, resolve issues and approve invoices
- Complete project closeout documentation at the end of the project
- Involvement in the installation of IT systems or services.
