ChalkLine Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in San Antonio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex commercial construction projects, with a preferred focus on hotels, multi-family, light industrial, office, interiors, and retail/brewery sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the construction project from initial planning and design to completion and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring that they are met on time and within budget.
• Oversee the work of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that they meet project deadlines and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
• Develop and implement project plans and strategies, including risk management and quality control measures.
• Review and approve project invoices, RFIs, and change orders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a focus on hotels, multi-family, light industrial, retail, and breweries. Similar project management experience in other fields is also appropriate for the role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of subcontractors and workers.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with project management software and tools, Procore preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required for project work throughout Texas as needed.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management (preferred) or related field.
