Job Summary:

As a Sales Associate at DigitalC, you will be instrumental in promoting and selling our premier internet service, Canopy, to residents of Cleveland, Ohio. This role requires a deep understanding of the Cleveland community and market, as well as a passion for digital equity. Your primary goal will be to actively engage with local residents, understand their internet needs, and present Canopy as the ideal solution. You'll be responsible for managing inbound leads, developing tailored sales strategies, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in bridging the digital divide in Cleveland while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage and convert leads into sales opportunities for Canopy
  • Utilize an in-depth understanding of the Cleveland market to tailor sales strategies for Canopy
  • Actively engage with Cleveland residents, promoting and selling Canopy
  • Build strong relationships with Cleveland residents, ensuring their satisfaction with Canopy services
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand Cleveland-specific trends in internet services
  • Monitor sales performance in the context of Canopy, making strategic adjustments as needed
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Canopy's features and benefits to effectively address customer queries
  • Actively participate in community events and activities in Cleveland to promote Canopy
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and increase Canopy's market penetration in Cleveland
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to create compelling promotional strategies

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, specifically in internet services or related technology fields preferred but not required 
  • Proven experience with a focus on achieving measurable results in sales
  • HubSpot experience preferred but not required 
  • Strong customer service orientation, particularly in internet service contexts.
  • Detail-oriented, with a consistent record of accurate and prompt execution of sales tasks
  • Deep commitment to promoting equitable access to internet services
  • Strong adherence to brand integrity and company guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strategic approach to overcoming challenges 
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and planning skills
  • High ethical standards, with strong values and integrity
