Bartender

Position Summary
The Bartender at Diablo Country Club crafts exceptional beverage experiences for our members and guests. This role requires a passion for mixology, extensive knowledge of spirits, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Reporting Relationship: Beverage Manager

Work Performed

• Create classic and signature cocktails, ensuring consistency, quality, and attractive presentation.
• Engage with members and guests, offering personalized recommendations and sharing beverage knowledge.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Collaborate with the culinary team on drink pairings and special beverage offerings.
• Participate in tastings and educational sessions to expand knowledge and stay current with industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and responsible alcohol service policies.
• Assist with inventory management, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues.

Minimum Requirements for Position:

• Minimum of three years of bartending experience in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and mixology techniques.
• Certification in alcoholic beverage service and food safety.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment that requires frequent movement, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to visually inspect beverages and read order forms.
