About Detroit Parent Network (DPN) Detroit Parent Network is Michigan’s premier organization dedicated to parent engagement. We focus on educating, equipping, and empowering parents to be champions for their children, effecting change in schools and communities. Our expansive network of parents works to engage parents and other advocates to ensure every child has a champion. DPN is multi-generational, and our advocacy and programming are equity-focused; we help to improve services, programs, and policies that empower ALL children and families. We are committed to elevating parental pathways to literacy and workforce development and supporting the aspirations of their children. DPN is expanding to serve 10 Michigan counties across the state in 2024-2025. We will work with existing and new funders and community organizations to enhance parent engagement, empowerment, advocacy, and training across a spectrum of areas, including health, education from pre-k through to college, career readiness, and workforce development to promote economic mobility.
Role Overview
Reporting to the director of Programing and Impact, the DPN program manager will work with a wide range of stakeholders to develop, implement, and assess programs and projects to increase parent engagement, literacy and healthy families.
