- Specialty Checklist Oversight:
- Manage and uphold the Specialty Training Checklist, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Utilize the specialty book provided as a comprehensive guide and reference tool.
- Appointment Preparation:
- Develop and implement procedures for preparing and organizing specialty appointments.
- Collaborate with relevant team members to streamline the appointment process.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate records of all specialty-related documentation.
- Ensure clean copies of GA paperwork for our anesthesiologists and meet all requirement sheets.
- Medicaid Criteria and Confirmation Calls:
- Stay informed about Medicaid Criteria point requirements.
- Implement and oversee the confirmation call policy and expectations.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Facilitate effective email communication with Dr.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other team members for seamless coordination.
- Treatment Day Coordination:
- Coordinate day-of-treatment GA paperwork efficiently.
- Provide pre-op instructions for GA and OCS, guiding parents/guardians in advance.
- Qualification Criteria and Verbal Scripting:
- Manage Oral Sedation (OCS) Qualification Criteria.
- Provide scripts to guide effective communication with parents/guardians.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Familiarity with Medicaid criteria and pediatric dental procedures.
