Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our oralsurgery.office. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Our office hours ae Monday , Tuesday , Thursday Friday 6:45AM -4:00PM NO WEEKENDS!!!

Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring accurate demographic information is obtained
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience in a dental administrative support role preferred
- Familiarity with medical and dental office procedures and terminology
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and fax machines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
