Functions:

• Direct patient care responsibilities including vital signs measurement, blood and fluid sample collection, wound dressings, and assisting with physical examinations.
• Administering patient medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients by assisting in daily activities like bathing, feeding, and mobilization.
• Keeping accurate documentation of patient care, condition, progress, and concerns.
• Communicating with patients and families to inform them about care, condition and recovery status.
• General housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and organized healthcare environment.
• Assisting with patient admission, transfers, and discharge processes.

Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong empathy skills with a resolute commitment to patient care and comfort.
• Proof of COVID vaccination.
• 18 years of age or older.
• A current CPR certificate is recommended.
