Job Summary:
Responsible for aligning human resources programs with overall department strategies, goals, and objectives.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.
Requirements:Position requires a bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and three years of experiencein human resources, including progressively more responsibility in employee relations, labor relations,performance management, compensation, training and development, recruiting, benefits, HRIS, and/oremployee communications. Professional certification and previous experience in a union environmentpreferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Position requires knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications;knowledge of employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, total rewards, and HRISstrategies; strong interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analyticalskills; the ability to plan, organize, and establish priorities; and the ability to resolve problems usingindependent judgment.
