DBC Real Estate Management is Hiring a Property Manager Near Columbus, OH

Job Description

This position will be taking over hotels that are going to be converted to apartments properties.

We are looking for a prudent property manager responsible for the direct management oversight of all assigned properties. The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction, and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned properties.
  • Design business plans for the assigned property that suit customers’ needs
  • Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
  • Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
  • Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
  • Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants
  • Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
  • Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data, and trends
  • Oversee property’ personnel and assess their performance
  • Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance
  • Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities
  • Update job and market knowledge
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by collecting rent, paying bills, forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget
  • Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenet complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units.
  • Maintains building systems by contracting for maintenance services and supervising repairs
  • prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing date and trends
  • Oversee the daily operations of the property, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
  • Manage and supervise property staff, including leasing agents, maintenance technicians, and administrative personnel
  • Handle tenant complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of property operations, financial transactions, and tenant interactions
  • Collaborate with corporate management to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with local housing laws and regulations

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a property manager
  • Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
  • In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
  • Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
  • Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Well-organized with excellent time management skills
  • AA/BS degree in a related field preferred
  • Leasing Up/Leasing experience required - 2-4 years
  • Property Management Experience required - 3-5 years
