Introduction:

David's Loft Clinical Programs is looking for a full-time Rehabilitation Assistant in the Baltimore City area to join our Fayette Street location. The suitable candidate needs to possess a high school diploma and have experience working in the behavioral health field supporting individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and or individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The suitable candidate also must possess situational awareness, good judgment, and excellent communication skills to ensure the safety of our patients. 

Certified Peer Recovery Specialists or Individuals pursuing such certification are highly desired, but not required.

Salary: $13.25 - $18.00

Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Monday-Friday (rotating weekends required)

 Duties:

• Provide Rehabilitation Services in a residential setting to adult patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. 
• Provide mentorship and assistance to people enrolled in the residential program including group activities as well as 1:1 individual time with clients. 
• Monitor medications as required by persons’ treatment plans or doctor’s order. 
• Ensure treatment participants are engaged in treatment and following treatment schedules. 
• Monitor and supervise daily activities Hours Shift Physical Capacity.
• Other duties as assigned by the Program Director. 

Job Requirements: Selected candidate must pass a criminal background check, drug test, National Sex Offender Registry Check. 

*Must be able to sit or stand for 20 mins at any given time. Lift up to 10 lbs.*
