The Daily Wire is looking to add a Human Resources Coordinator to our team! The Human Resources Coordinator will support the entire Human Resources department with the full scope of HR and recruiting-related administrative tasks. This person will focus heavily on supporting the new hire onboarding function, recruiting logistics, internal employee communications, and company-wide employee engagement. This role will interface with leaders at all levels and be a primary connection point between HR and the employee population. RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboarding and Orientation
Facilitate weekly onboarding sessions. Responsible for hosting the monthly new hire orientation sessions.
Recruitment Support
Assist with recruiting coordination, including scheduling candidate interviews, screens, and assessments. Facilitate email correspondence and communication among the recruiting team, candidates, hiring managers, and others. Monitor and promptly respond to emails related to the hiring process. Conduct reference checks and background checks on candidates. Coordinate requisitions and offers for temporary positions and extensions. Support other recruiting-related functions as needed.
Candidate and Employee Travel Coordination
Function as the primary point of contact for candidates and employees who fly to Nashville. Book travel, including flight, hotel, and car service. Organize consolidated travel itinerary for candidates. Greet visiting candidates and give office tours. Coordinate with Finance to assist with candidate reimbursements.
Internship Program Management
Assist recruiting team with building and maintaining a competitive internship program. Function as the point of contact for interns who have been accepted into the program. Plan and facilitate all internship activities and events, including a consistent final send-off. Track internship start and end dates.
Project Tracking and Reporting
Track progress and report completion of HR and Recruiting-related projects.
IT Liaison
Act as IT liaison. Coordinate with IT to procure and deliver equipment to new hires. Coordinate return of equipment for remote employees during off-boarding.
Office Seating and Facilities Coordination
Maintain an accurate office-wide seating chart map and make updates as needed. Act as Facilities liaison; coordinate desk assignments.
HR Documentation and Records
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation. Submit expense reports for HR department credit cards on a weekly basis.
Event Planning and Coordination
Assist with company social events. Schedule social event meetings and follow-ups. Maintain accurate event planning spreadsheets. Send reminders to social events committee as needed.
Payroll Assistance and Employee Recognition
Assist with weekly payroll processing for day-players. Track birthdays and arrange/distribute employee gift cards.
HR Inbox and Phone Line Management
Monitor HR inbox and phone line.
Other Duties as Assigned
Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field a plus
Demonstrated Skills/Abilities/Competencies
•Previous HR experience preferred
•Outstanding organizational and time management skills
•Highly detail-oriented
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Comfortable and skilled with presenting to small groups in new hire orientation setting
•Ability to stay calm and work comfortably while under pressure
•Proactive and comfortable with taking initiative, but also with following taking direction and receiving feedback
•Thrive tackling new challenges and maintaining a positive attitude while doing so
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Strong Excel and Word skills
•G-suite proficiency
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Start date: Immediate
Employment type: Full-time; Non-Exempt
Compensation: Dependent Upon Experience
