Our team is currently seeking a Controller that will be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of all accounting practices and procedures and ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information. The candidate is a skilled financial professional who understands business, operations, and financial processes; can integrate finance and operations and can collaborate with operational leadership in support of successfully managing the business. This position will work on a day-to-day basis with leadership (Plant Manager, Supply Chain Manager, and other staff members) regarding all fiscal matters with a heavy focus on manufacturing accounting.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain and own all accounting functions for the company including payables, receivables, cash management, audit, tax etc.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Analyze and interpret financial data, including cost variances, overhead allocations, and inventory levels.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Understand and balance all intercompany transactions related to PE ownership and commonly owned entities.
• Manage daily cash flow and develop and provide projections of revenue and cash flow to executive leaders. Organize and perform all month and year-end closing processes, while continuing process improvement
• Coordinate the preparation and monitoring of the annual operating budget.
• Develop and document business processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and standards.
• Prepare additional analysis, forecasting, and reporting to assist management with development of the company’s strategic plans.
• Be the Key Liaison between the Outside Auditors and the Company and ensure our audits are completed accurately and timely.

Experience/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar discipline
• 7 years of accounting experience with Accounting Experience. Relevant Manufacturing experience a plus
• NetSuite or other related ERP experience
• Advanced understanding of Excel
• Self-Starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment.
• A hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic and growing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must have strong leadership and the ability to establish collaborative working relationships with individuals of varying seniority and teams both inside and outside the organization.
