BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES |
Responsible for providing administrative support to staff and handling reception duties. These duties inlcude but are not limited to: database system maintenance, training, office supply purchasing, typing, filling, payroll, reception and telephone duties. Answering request from employees as relates to Human resourses. Work Day: Monday thru Saturday Hours: May Vary 7:30 am to 5:30 pm No Overtime |
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES |
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. · Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. · Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. · Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. · Provides clerical support to the HR department. · May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and payroll issues. · Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers. · Conducts or assists with new hire orientation. · Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations. · Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS |
Must be 18 years or older. High school graduate or equivalent. Additional related training preferred. |
TRAINING, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE |
Minimum two years clerical or administrative experience. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team. Typing skills. Must have excellent computer skills (Word, Access, and Excel). Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system. Sensitivity to the needs of persons with disabilities. Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others. High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information. Ability and willingness to work some early mornings, evenings and weekend days. Must be bilingual English-Spanish. |
