We are looking for a passionate and dedicated BAR MANAGER to join the opening team. Cucina MORINI is the newest restaurant concept from Altamarea Group, an award-winning global hospitality firm with 15 restaurants worldwide. Altamarea Group offers managers an opportunity to work with high-quality Italian cuisine and wine/spirits, and an operations team firmly committed to investing in and developing talent. Through its talented team of employees, Altamarea Group creates special memories through exceptional hospitality, delivering the highest level of food and service across distinct brands and concepts.

Bar Manager Responsibilities include:

• Under the Bar Programs Director’s guidance, develop the concept’s signature specialty cocktail program and update the list seasonally or as needed
• Grow cocktail and beverage sales in the restaurant and facilitate beverage training for the staff, including new hire training the bartender team, liquor control policies, and spirits knowledge
• In cooperation with the General Manager and Directors, develop beverage-driven promotional ideas and events to build the business
• Organize, supervise and execute shifts, actively engage in service and lead with a hands-on approach
• Deliver superior service and optimize client dining experience on daily, consistent basis
• Maintain the wine and cocktail list, execute beverage monthly inventories, and order all wine, liquor, beer, etc. for the property

Bar Manager Requirements:

• At least 3 years of bartender and craft cocktail creation experience
• Strong background in hospitality and knowledge of service standards
• Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely
• Ability to multitask and plan ahead
• Ability to train and encourage the restaurant staff
• Candidates should demonstrate creativity and a commitment to the brand success
• Must have flexible schedule and open availability to meet business needs
• Physical requirements include but not limited to the ability to handle and carry trays, smallware, equipment, or other items up to 35lbs, and to stand, walk up and downstairs, and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time
