Job Summary:
The specific assignment for this position will be to* work with a team* to increase the team’s capacity to raise funds by welcoming and thanking donors who give to US-Development projects. To provide administrative assistance and project coordination to the Executive Director of Donor Development and to the Donor Marketing team and to help maintain a repertoire of resources to be used for donor marketing.
The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:

• Thank partners via thank you cards and phone calls. Assign donors to caseloads, distribute workload to team members when needed, and record all donor contact in the donor management systems.
• Respond to questions from current and potential donors that come via telephone, email, and U.S. mail about direct marketing programs. Manage the process of responding to donor comments from the website and the Cru inbox and serve as a point of contact for donor issues sent from Donation Services.
• Set up weekly team meetings, reserve conference rooms, schedule video calls, and arrange the devotional schedule. Take notes as needed.
• Assist Executive Director in preparing for quarterly team meetings and the annual Freelancer Summit by creating calendar appointments, monitoring key job deadlines, doing meeting prep, coordinating meals, note taking, scheduling action items in Asana, managing travel arrangements, preparing reports, creating presentations, etc.
• Coordinate recognition of team/freelancer birthdays and department office activities related to our team.
• Maintain master job schedule/status document. Create job numbers and drop dates for USDEV appeals/newsletters.
• Gather and analyze monthly donor information, verifying account information and communicating with lapsed donors as needed
• Complete premium fulfillment gift mailings - podcasts, gift catalog, ads, etc.
• Manage weekly welcome kit process and evergreen mailings with the prayer letter service. Maintain quantities, provide data files, update donor information and edit letters as needed.
• Lead the employee recognition program - send out reminders to staff about deadlines, manage purchases and totals for the department.
• Provide editing and copy review for donor marketing and digital proofs to identify potential errors.
• Check the Trim reports to ensure that the numbers match the aggregator report stats.

Required Experience:

• Associates degree AND
• 3-years of experience in fund development and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Cru experience preferred.
