Critical Process Systems Group is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist - CollabraTech Solutions (CTS) Near Phoenix, AZ

This position is with our company CollabraTech Solutions, where our expertise includes development, prototyping, design-for-manufacture, down-costing, systems integration, maintenance, product extension, and end-of-life planning. Our wide-angle lens on high-tech engineering leverages real-world knowledge as an advanced, in-house contract manufacturing service organization. We know what it takes to make 10 and what it takes to make 1,000, and the rules for each. We also know that a single, hand-built prototype might be a brilliant demonstration unit, but may never qualify for a pharmaceutical production line, or use in aerospace missions.
SUMMARY
Supports various organizations within a high-tech capital equipment design and manufacturing company. Responsibilities include supporting Accounts Payable and Office Management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Accounts Payable Specialist ensures suppliers get paid for services and products rendered
  • They review and process invoices, audit credit card bills, answer supplier inquiries, reconcile supplier statements, process and maintain 1099 statements, and process and distribute checks
  • Respond to external suppliers and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process, including processing invoices for payment, recording sales tax, issues with processing supplier invoices
  • Verify the accuracy of supplier invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used and quantity and pricing matches receiving records
  • Generate payment to suppliers on a routine schedule and match the check with backup for review by the financial manager
  • Inspect paid and unpaid invoices including cleared payment inquiries and check voiding to maintain accurate files and records according to company standards
  • Develop and maintain a filing system for financial information, records and documents to ensure easily available information
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to assist the other business units and department managers to support overall business unit, department, and company goals and objectives, including developing tools and reports to monitor overall health of business
  • Assist with various Office Management activities such as maintaining supply inventories and reordering as necessary.
  • Assist with invoicing in Accounts Receivable and posting customer payments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Value building meaningful, long-standing relationships
  • Basic G/L accounting or inventory knowledge within a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform to complex requirements
  • Strong computer skills, including ERP and Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent customer service skills, including effective listening
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Flexibility to work overtime, holidays and off-shift hours to support company requirements as needed
EDUCATION
  • Highschool Diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
EXPERIENCE
  • 3 - 5 years of Accounts Payable experience ideal
  • Accounts Receivables processing and collections a plus
  • Global Shop ERP systems a plus
