Executive Chef

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a creative approach to cooking.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement menus that are innovative and appealing to customers
• Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and freshness
• Manage and train kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
• Oversee inventory and ordering of food and supplies
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff and management, to ensure a seamless dining experience for customers

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience
