Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision for HR operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable personnel laws and regulations.
- Coordinate performance management processes and support the recruiting lifecycle, including job postings, candidate visits, and new hire orientations.
- Manage employee relations, including legal issues and separation processes.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, salary/compensation scales, and personnel files.
- Provide training on HR topics and oversee employee engagement activities.
- Represent the school internally and externally, championing the brand.
- Manage and coordinate benefits programs for employees, including communication, problem-solving, and claims resolution.
- Collaborate with insurance brokers to develop benefit strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Prepare regulatory reporting and manage annual open enrollment for benefits plans.
- Resolve discrepancies or errors on carrier billing invoices and support ACA reporting.
- Minimum of three years of related experience, preferably in a not-for-profit environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field; certification preferred.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
