Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. If you have a passion for mixology and enjoy creating unique and delicious drinks, we would love to hear from you. Duties: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines - Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register - Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Follow all company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service and safety regulations Skills: - Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and drink recipes - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner - Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Basic understanding of retail math for calculating prices, discounts, and tips - Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
