Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their stay is enjoyable and memorable. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing outstanding customer service
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
- Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
Experience:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and night audit procedures is a plus
- Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) are advantageous
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and excellent phone etiquette
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
