Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Take customer orders and ensure accuracy
- Operate cash register and handle transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food items
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Upsell additional products or menu items to customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of retail math and cash register operation is a plus
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends is desirable
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling
