Marketing Operations Manager Cooley is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join the Marketing & Business Development team. Position summary: The Marketing Operations Manager will oversee Cooley’s centralized marketing operation functions. The Marketing Operations Manager will exhibit strong process design and organizational skills, while collaborating and communicating effectively across all functions of the marketing and business development department, as well as other administrative departments at Cooley. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Position responsibilities: Develop and implement department processes and procedures that optimize performance and efficiency of marketing and business development efforts Develop and manage marketing and business development budget in coordination with accounting/finance department and all budget owners within marketing and business development and relevant IS teams Collaborating with departmental directors and managers, manage internal offline annual performance review cycle including midyear check-ins and annual reviews (e.g., development of tracking spreadsheets, follow-up communications with departmental directors/managers reporting back to Chief Marketing Officer Manage department Team page and Cooleynet pages Design and manage team departmental supplemental onboarding process as well as ongoing calendar of team training and mentoring programs Develop and manage department Key Performance Indicator (“KPI”) dashboard and update quarterly Potential resource for firmwide workplace change-initiatives, including office moves and other local change efforts Supervise department expense management specialist and works closely with department executive assistant Skills and experience: Required: After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and other firm applications Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required Ability to travel to other offices and off site as needed 5 years relevant marketing experience Experience in managing and executing multiple projects concurrently Proficiency in marketing databases and data manipulation skills in common data storage formats Preferred: Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or technology field Legal marketing experience Supervisory experience Competencies: Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Demonstrate great initiative and the ability to work independently Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions with high degree of accuracy Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively across offices Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize and work concurrently on a variety of projects and requests, providing a solutions-oriented approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the firm Cooley offers a competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.
