General Summary:

ConnectWise is expanding its cybersecurity portfolio and is seeking an experienced Director of Product Management, reporting to the VP of cybersecurity products, who will help push the possible in security monitoring and analytics. This hands-on and independent product leader will oversee the future of our XDR and integration SIEM/SOAR platforms with direct ownership of the use-cases and security content across the security product line. This hands-on director is expected to take our use-case driven security platform into the future.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with customers, sales, engineering teams, and senior leadership to drive and define our XDR and SIEM/SOAR product roadmaps and drive clear and innovative requirements that deliver business growth.
• Direct and coach the team of product managers to scale and expand our data and analytics platforms to support the ConnectWise security vision.
• Responsible for the definition of requirements, roadmap, pricing, and packaging of security use-cases delivered by our XDR platform by combining customer feedback, market/competitive research and internal stakeholder input.
• Take responsibility for the delivery of timely and high-quality product releases that solve our MSP partner’s problems and protect the small business around the world.
• Participates in GTM messaging, positioning, and strategy.
• Collaborate with the product teams of the other business units to align on a company-wide platform strategy and architecture.
• Our product managers are hands on experts in their field and are required to stay on top of the latest developments in security analytics markets and competitive products.

• Candidate has previously been involved in XDR, SIEM, SOAR, security analytics, or log management content development efforts
• Knowledge of major security products and their capabilities; from SASE to NIDS and ZTA.
• Familiar with major security and compliance framework from NIST CSF to PCI.
• Intimately familiar with product development processes, ideally in a SaaS environment
• Problem solving and organizational abilities to prioritize competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong, independent team player with the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the organization
• Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

• 5 to 7 years of experience as a Product Management leader driving product direction for XDR, SIEM, SOAR, endpoint security, and/or adjacent security segments.
• Deep understanding of SOC concepts, workflow, and use-cases
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and the cybersecurity product landscape
• Experience with B2B software products and services
• Timely, organized, reliable, and able to meet multiple concurrent deadlines
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and work successfully with a global, highly distributed team
• Experience with some of the following products: Elasticsearch, Elastic Security, Tines, Splunk, LogRhythm, Microsoft Sentinel and Defender for Business, SentinelOne, Bitdefender
• Product management team leadership and personnel management a plus
• Prior experience as a security analyst a plus.
