Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1977 with a mission to enable individuals and families in predominantly Latino neighborhoods to achieve economic self-sufficiency and well-being. Position Summary: We’re eager to add a part-time (5-10 hrs./week) hybrid, limited expectation of travel to Congreso Main headquarters located in Eastern North Philadelphia.

 social media intern to Congreso’s External Affairs team. This internship is unpaid.

Time Frame:

Length of internship is open for discussion. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support launch of Tiktok account

• Brainstorm and develop content for social channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok

• Edit video content

• Work with Marketing Manager to create a social media calendar

• Attend programmatic and community events during the week/weekend when necessary Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge/Experience in social media

• Knowledge/Experience in graphic design software (Canva, Adobe, etc.)

• Knowledge/Experience in recording, editing video content, and software (CapCut, IG Video Editor, Adobe Premiere, etc.)

• Knowledge/Experience in Microsoft Office Platforms

• Skills necessary for this role: strong writing and grammar, willingness to learn, reliable, strong communicator, time management/ability to multitask

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred but not required
