About the Role
Media Arts Education internship offers the opportunity to participate in the production of a multi-media learning experience teaching Philadelphia-area high school students. The Media Arts Education Intern will learn from assisting Media Instructors with project coordination and instruction by serving as the second instructor in a classroom of 10-20 high school or middle school students who are learning video production at WHYY. Media Arts Education Interns will work alongside Media Instructors during lesson planning and implementation and will guide students as they complete their video projects. The Media Arts Education Intern will accomplish the following tasks:
Current junior and senior undergraduate student, or graduate student studying for a Bachelor’s degree in communications, media production, education, or a related field.
Experience editing/shooting video and experience working with kids are a plus.
Proof of being fully vaccinated is required.

*Individual must be a current junior or senior undergraduate student, graduate student or recent grad (2-3) years from graduation date.
