About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations for its auto dealership group, a newly created role with a focus on equity opportunity. The successful candidate will be a take-charge leader with a passion for the automotive retail business, capable of leading multiple stores, mentoring staff, and driving sales, CSI, and profitability. This hands-on position requires a dynamic, proactive individual with a proven track record of success in multi-store leadership, a strong work ethic, and the ability to initiate and implement improvements. The VP of Operations will have P&L responsibility, assess all stores, their staff, and policies, and be instrumental in fostering a culture of great customer service, accountability, and profitability.Applicants must be able to demonstrate their ability to "raise the bar" and have a deep understanding of the online auto buyer and social media users. The role demands a candidate with excellent financial acumen, solid interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build and lead a team. The ideal candidate will be a team player capable of coordinating efforts with sales, service, and office staff. The position is in the Midwest, and the candidate must be willing to relocate to a Midwestern state.
