Vice President, Reimbursement and Operational Finance

CommuniCare Health Services is a fast-growing provider of long-term care with over 130 facilities located in 7 states. Due to current growth, we are recruiting for a Vice President of Reimbursement and Operational Finance.

The Vice President of Reimbursement and Operational Finance reports to the Chief Operating Officer and also has a strong dotted line to the CFO. The position will be responsible to prepare and present forecasts and recommendations to senior operations leadership based upon opportunities and changes in State Medicaid payment programs. 

Estimated Pay: $160k/annually

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Forecasting- preparation and analysis of forecasts
  • Internal Reporting- Key role in the accumulation of data and the formation of divisional financial forecasts.
  • Strategic Analysis- Financial/strategic analyses on issues affecting operations
  • Valuations/Analysis- Provide comprehensive analyses and summaries on business decisions
  • Analyze expenditure trends relative to payment methodologies and detail cost benefit opportunities
  • Distill report metrics into findings and recommendations for operations leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or Master's degree a plus
  • 5 years of experience in a Finance / Reimbursement role with a LTC company
  • Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office products, Workday / Prism forecasting software preferred
  • Position requires strong presentation skills
  • Ability to set objectives and work in a collegial manner with other staff
