We are seeking a motivated and skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or business administration, coupled with 3-5 years of technical product sales experience. This role involves significant travel within the assigned territories from Chicago to the West Coast, directly reporting to the National Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy Implementation: Drive sales efforts, administration, and management of Manufacturing Representatives in assigned geographical areas in support of corporate strategic goals.
• Team Management: Evaluate and develop representative work force based on product knowledge, market penetration, and support of companies best practices and coverage.
• Recruitment and Training: Lead in the recruitment, selection, and training of independent manufacturer's representatives within the assigned region.
• Technical Training: Provide technical training for representatives and customers, utilizing tools such as MS-Teams for virtual meetings.
• Customer Relationship Management: Develop direct relationships and manage negotiations of contracts with major accounts, ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Sales Planning: Plan and schedule sales calls, trade seminars, and provide input on promotions and advertising programs.
• Reporting: Prepare regional sales forecasts, quarterly sales review, budgets, and other territory information as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor competition, market trends, and gather information from the field to continuously improve sales strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of previous technical product sales experience.
• Proven ability to manage and develop sales teams.
• Strong technical training and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel 50% or more of the time.
