Position: Property Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Tenant Relations:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and ensuring overall tenant satisfaction.
  • Implement strategies to enhance tenant experiences and retention.

Lease Management:

  • Administer lease agreements, ensuring compliance and adherence to property policies.
  • Conduct negotiations for lease renewals, rent adjustments, and other lease-related matters.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage property budgets, monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Oversee rent collection and address accounts receivable to ensure financial goals are met.

Property Maintenance:

  • Collaborate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure the property is well-maintained, including landscaping, repairs, and routine inspections.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Risk Management:

  • Implement and enforce safety and security measures to protect the property and its occupants.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and codes, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports on property performance, financial status, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide confidential updates to senior management on property-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience with Class A properties
  • DC market experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management.
  • Strong knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
