Confidential is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Warren, MI

SUMMARY

The Receptionist performs routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record keeping.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

- Responsible for the opening and closing of the front office. Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.

− Develops and maintains office forms and procedures, and assists with administrative tasks.

− Answers central telephone system, while screening, and directing the calls accordingly.

− Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees, customers, and the general public when necessary.

− Operates and maintains the office equipment and supplies as required.

− Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.

− Duplicates and distributes materials.

− Composes, types, and edits correspondences, reports, memos, etc. as needed.

− Maintains and orders office supply inventory.

− Requisitions spot buy purchase order request using AIM; receives in spot buy purchase orders using AIM.

− Assists Accounting Department and Human Resources Department as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

− High School Diploma or GED equivalent with specialized course in office practices such as typing, filing, accounting, bookkeeping, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 47.50 per week
