We’re looking for a Field Service Manager to oversee our industrial service operations for part of our service area. We send technicians into facilities throughout the country to perform preventive maintenance and repairs, and this role involves managing technicians and administrators to ensure smooth operations.
Scope
The primary role is to supervise the field service technician group and their deployment on service projects. The Field Service Manager’s responsibilities will be to supervise and manage the service department personnel and the workload, overtime and overall demand on labor resource planning.
Education & Experience
An engineering or technical management degree is desired, but not required. Candidates must possess a strong analytical, managerial, and technical aptitude and be able to read and interpret blueprints. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills are necessary, as is a general knowledge of material handling equipment and electrical system control procedures.
